Sunny Days in LA

Hey guys so this are actually pictures from a few weeks ago, sorry I am so terrible at posting a lot but I do my best! Amanda (my best friend) and my little sister ventured to LA a little while ago. We went and ate at Urth and Diddy Reese, both amazing food places if you have never been. We also walked around and shopped. I kept my outfit black and simple. In my opinion, if you have a simple outfit add accessories to make it more interesting and unique.

so put another dime in the jukebox baby

Ian and I went to shoot to a burn area and we found some gems like abandoned railroad tracks and old concrete structures, literally a wasteland (ironic, right? with my blogspot name and what not). So basically, as you can tell in the pictures, we shot a very lively and colorful dress with a very dead background. I love this Joyrich dress because it has a baby doll cut and the PATTERN, ah I just can't its my favorite piece in my closet at the moment. I used to think that baby doll dresses were kind of a "been there done that" thing, last year Brandy Melville overdid the whole trend. But then I found this dress, and I fell in love with the cut all over again. I went ham at an LF sale and these shoes were one of the many damages done to my wallet, but I love them and I cannot wait until Spring so I can wear them more often.

yetti fur

Ian (my lovely photographer) and I took pictures in an abandoned cow slaughter house (gross, right?), but whatever it looked cool in pictures. Today I was feeling the faux fur. I love this vest because its so soft and it reminds me of the abominable snowman on the Matterhorn ride at Disneyland. I paired my vest with an all black outfit and I decided to toss in some color with the charms on my necklaces.

flannels and butterflies

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while I have been busy with life and stuff, but I promise to post more! Today I was feeling casual so I kept it casual with my outfit. I am wearing mostly black because it's my go to color. I love black because it makes everything look more put together and classier, right? I don't know maybe I just like the look of it, who doesn't love the color black? Well anyways, I am wearing my favorite For Love and Lemons bralette. I love wearing bralettes because they just add a special touch to an otherwise boring outfit

FUN-ky Pants

Today I am wearing my favorite pants of all time. I love the pattern on these, I always feel like I just walked out of the 70's when I wear them. I paired these patterned pants with a plain graphic because I didn't want to pair them with too loud of a shirt, I'm sure you guys can understand why. These pants remind me of an Indian rug and I'm pretty sure that's why I like them.
XOXO, Laura

Oh Baby It's a Wild World

Today my best friend and I did what all cool teenagers do on Fridays and went to hang out at an elementary school. I swear we aren't losers, it's what everyone does, right? The weather in Southern California has been really bi-polar, this past week it was 80 degrees but today it was cold. I decided to keep warm in this California "cold" (not really that cold) by pairing a patterned cardigan with my graphic tee-shirt. I have been loving the look of patterned clothing with graphic tees and I have been wearing it a ton lately! And of course I wore my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans. That's about it, hope everyone is having a great friday.
xoxo- Laura
Laura's tip: When buying boyfriend jeans, if you don't have an ass get them in a size smaller than what you would normally buy or else they will fall off. (trust me, learned from personal experience)
